March 22, 2019 (Greenville, S.C.) – First Community Bank is pleased to mark the official opening of its downtown Greenville office at 105 N Spring Street with a ceremonial ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration. The 5,658 square foot office marks the bank’s fourth Upstate location and builds on its four-year presence in the region.

“As a community bank with an emphasis on relationship-style banking, we have the unique ability to form lasting partnerships built on trust and commitment, and we’re excited to share that with our downtown customers,” said Regional Market President Coleman Kirven.

In addition to the branch staff, the office, located at the corner of N Spring and E Coffee Streets, houses Kirven and a seasoned team of commercial bankers, mortgage lenders and financial planners.

“Our team genuinely cares about each customer and their specific needs, and that sets us apart from other banks. From the moment you walk through our doors you’ll notice the difference, and we’re proud of that,” said Kirven.

To highlight the bank’s connection to Greenville, the bank partnered with local vendors Caldwell Constructors and DP3 Architects to create a space that reflects the warmth and vibrancy of the city. The bank also worked with local fine art gallery Art & Light to curate a special collection of original artwork by local artists, Annie Koelle, Kiah Bellows and Jean Wilson Freeman. Their work, displayed throughout the office, ranges from abstracted landscapes to modern florals.

To further demonstrate the bank’s continued commitment to the Greenville community, the bank also made a special donation to United Ministries, a Greenville-based non-profit dedicated to serving and empowering residents in their path to self-sufficiency.

Since entering the market in 2015 through the opening of a loan production office downtown, the bank has increased its focus on the Upstate by growing its team, supporting community events and acquiring Cornerstone National Bank. In addition to the downtown office, the bank operates offices in Powdersville, Easley and in Greenville on Farrs Bridge Road.
