First Community Bank Expands Mortgage Team in Augusta
December 22, 2017 (Augusta, Ga.) – First Community Bank is pleased to announce Melynda Cleveland has joined the bank as a mortgage loan officer in the Augusta region. She brings more than 20 years of industry knowledge and local experience to the First Community team.
“We are excited to welcome someone of Melynda’s caliber to the First Community family,” said Kevin Jones, First Community Bank senior vice president and director of mortgage sales. “She is a seasoned loan officer who stays on top of the ever-changing mortgage marketplace and guides her clients through the process every step along the way.”
Melynda is well versed in a variety of mortgage products, including conventional, VA, FHA, jumbo, construction and USDA loans. She also assists first-time homebuyers and clients looking to refinance an existing property.
She is actively involved in local industry groups, including the Builders Association of Metro Augusta, Greater Augusta Association of Realtors and the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia where she has held several positions within the Augusta chapter, including president and education chair. Prior to her career in banking, Melynda served in the United States Navy.
