First Community Bank Names DeeDee Kehl as Newberry Market Executive

February 7, 2017 (Lexington, S.C.) – First Community Bank is pleased to announce that DeeDee Kehl has joined its team as the Market Executive/Vice President for the Newberry community. With more than 30 years in the financial services industry, Ms. Kehl brings an extensive knowledge of banking to the Newberry and Prosperity markets. In this role, she will develop new commercial and consumer accounts with a particular focus on loans while also managing the day-to-day operations.

“DeeDee is a seasoned banking professional who has served in many capacities throughout her career,” said Ted Nissen, Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial and Retail Banking Officer of First Community Bank. “Her vast industry experience and customer-first approach match our style of banking and will be a tremendous benefit as that market continues to grow.”

Ms. Kehl is committed to working with the community as a Rotarian and through the local Chambers of Commerce. A Columbia, South Carolina native, she attended the University of South Carolina and the South Carolina Banker’s School.

Bob Burch will continue in his role as a commercial banker in Newberry. He serves on the Newberry County Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees, the Newberry Business Alliance and the Newberry Chamber of Commerce.
