Deposit Sales Support Associate

Location: Administrative Office - Lexington

This position is responsible for administering the operational components of the Overdraft Privilege program, up to and including review, decision, maintenance, etc. Additionally, this position functions as the bank’s primary Collections and Recovery resource, ensuring appropriate, yet effective methods are deployed to minimize loss to the Bank. This position will also be cross-trained for other positions in the Bank’s Deposit Sales Support area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)
  • Timely review, maintenance, reporting and monitoring of client Overdraft Privilege program
  • Interact with internal and external clients in attempts to preclude accounts reaching charge-off status.Includes active communication efforts, reporting, etc. regarding accounts, up to and following charge-off
  • Deploy Collections & Recovery efforts, adhering to Regulatory/Compliance guidelines and as dictated by Policy/Procedures.Effectively manage collections portfolio with assistance from external vendor
Qualifications

  • Collections experience highly preferred
  • High school diploma or Equivalent and 3-5 years bank experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Understanding of typical bank practices and approaches
  • Ability to compute basic to moderately complex math calculations
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Excel
