October 21, 2024 (Lexington, S.C. and Augusta, GA.) – First Community Bank announced today that J. Jordan Pierce has been named Regional Market President for the bank’s CSRA region. Mr. Pierce succeeds retiring Regional Market President Jeff Spears who led the CSRA region for First Community Bank since its acquisition of Savannah River Banking Company in 2014.

With more than 18 years of banking experience, including seven of those with First Community Bank, Pierce is well prepared to lead the bank’s continued growth in the CSRA market, which includes locations in Augusta and Evans, Georgia as well as Aiken, South Carolina. Pierce has the experience and knowledge of the Augusta community that will allow him to have an important impact on communities in the CSRA as he works with the bank’s local team to support business owners, professionals and entrepreneurs with the right financial solutions to help them be successful. Pierce earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Augusta State University and throughout his career has been very active in the local community and is currently the Chair of Westminster Schools of Augusta, a member of the Rotary Club of Augusta, and an Elder of First Presbyterian Church of Augusta. His past community service includes Chair of the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce and the Columbia County Chamber Foundation, board member for the Augusta Partnership for Children, board member for the Augusta Symphony, and Campaign Chair and Chair of the United Way of the CSRA. Pierce is also a graduate of Leadership Augusta, Leadership Columbia County Executive Forum, and was a 2019 recipient of the Augusta Metro’s Top 10 in 10 award.
